I have spent over 25 years as an Information Technology Professional–beginning as a tech support analyst and most recently as Chief Information Officer. For the last 15 years I have been primarily a database developer focused on data analysis and analytics with some front-end development sprinkled in here and there.

The reason I do not advertise here anymore is that I’m not as passionate about IT as I once was. It’s a means to an end at this point–providing for my family–and I put a lot of energy into being the best CIO I can. When I leave the office though, I prefer to concentrate on other pursuits–some for a little extra cash, and some for fun:

• DIY – home repair and remodeling
• Scale model building
• Writing – have a few pieces in the works right now
• Relaxing outside with my wife and dog(s)
