Trudging Forward

William: Oi, sir! What are you doing?
Geoffrey : Uh… trudging. You know, trudging? [pause] To trudge: the slow, weary, depressing yet determined walk of a man who has nothing left in life except the impulse to simply soldier on.

A Knight’s Tale

Perhaps “Trudging Forward” isn’t the best title of this post, but I’m going to use it anyway! Business-wise, it hasn’t been a slow, weary OR depressing walk; rather an exciting brisk jog through the jungle of small business development. I also hope (for your sake) that I don’t find myself trudging along like Geoffrey was at this point in the movie!

Since I re-started the website a few weeks ago, I’ve made significant progress on–this–my home on the Internet. My eCommerce solution has been installed, setup and integrated with PayPal Business. I’ve finished the Facebook Developer process to enable Facebook integration with this site (including site logins). More importantly though, I have set up 5 additional development servers–bringing the total to 7.

PawnOfSale is on hold right now as I’ve been asked to devote more resources to API development for several wholesalers. My client testers are still hard at work trying to break POS of course, which will keep them busy while I develop other items.

My creative design team (consisting of my daughter Abby right now) is hard at work designing some business graphics and logos for me but even that goes slow as she’s a full-time student at Taylor University (where I also work).

Don’t fret though, I will make every attempt to keep this news feed as up-to-date as possible.**NOTE: If this feed gets TOO busy, please just don’t tell my client–I don’t want them thinking that I’m spending all my time blogging instead of coding! HA!
